SHERWOOD DASH WARRANTY:
Sherwood Dash Inc. warrants its products to be free from defects in
material and workmanship for the period matching the greater duration of
the new vehicle manufacturers warranty or three (3) years. This warranty
applies to the original purchaser of the product only. No other
warranties are either expressed or implied.
1. Any WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY or WARRANTY OF FITNESS implied
under law is limited to the original purchaser of vehicle only. THE
WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE.
2. The purchaser must notify the company that sold and/or installed
the product in their vehicle of any defect within 7 days of notification
by the purchaser.
3. No repairs are to be attempted on allegedly defective product
without express authorization from Sherwood Dash Inc., or until an
authorized factory representative has had reasonable opportunity to
inspect the product question.
4. Repair or replacement of defective parts will be at the sole
discretion of Sherwood Dash Inc.
The Sherwood Dash Inc. EXPRESS WARRANTY and any WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE shall not apply to
any defect or failure in materials or workmanship caused by any of the
following:
1. Accident, unauthorized, unreasonable or negligent use of the
vehicle or the Sherwood Dash Inc. parts.
2. The purchaser failure to comply with all maintenance
requirements or recommendations specified on the product instruction
sheet.
3. Unauthorized or reasonable modifications, changes or alterations
of the components manufactured by Sherwood Dash Inc
4. Improper installation by seller/installer. Sherwood Dash Inc.
does not warrant the installation of its products.
Sherwood Dash Inc. must be notified by buyer in writing, of any
defective products within 7 days after discovery of the alleged defect
reported to Automotive Dash Kit. Once Sherwood Dash Inc. has approved
the return, you must include serial number of vehicle, mileage, date of
installation, condition of parts, and original invoice number on which
part(s) were purchased. All warranties apply to the product only and
excludes labor or installation or product removal.
PLEASE COMPLETE WARRANTY CARD AND MAIL WITHIN 7 DAYS OF PURCHASE.
RETAIN YOUR PORTION OF WARRANTY CARD FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

RETURNS FOR WARRANTY OR DEFECTS:
1. ALL
NON-CURRENT MODEL dash kits are made to order and are NON-RETURNABLE.
SPECIAL ORDER SERIES FINISHES AND ALL
COLORED CARBON FIBER, REAL ALUMINUM FINISHES ARE NON-RETURNABLE.
2. The part or parts being returned are for defects in material or
workmanship only. Installation errors, abuse, or shipping damage are
not reasons for returns.
3. Prior to contacting Sherwood Dash Customer Service Representative
first contact AUTOMOTIVE DASH KIT Representative for (Purchase Control
Number) within seven (7) days of receipt of product. Be prepared to
provide the following information: (a) Exact nature or description of
defect; (b) Part name and kit number; (c) Wood color and type: (d)
Invoice number product was purchased on.
4. Your Customer service Representative will issue a Return
Authorization Number (RAN) number. This number must be clearly written
on the outside of the box used to ship the part back to Sherwood Dash or
the parts will be refused.
5. Ship part or parts to Sherwood Dash within thirty (30) days and
package carefully to avoid additional damage. We need to clearly
inspect the part to determine the nature of the problem.
6. After inspection of the part and determination that the defect
exists, we will replace or repair the part at no charge to you. If the
part is inspected and found to have no manufacturing defect, you will be
notified and the part returned to you or scrapped at your discretion.
If you requested another part, and we have charged you for it, the full
invoice amount of the replacement part will be credited to your account.
RETURNS FOR SHIPPING DAMAGE:
1. If box shows visible damage upon receipt of goods notify your
shipping company representative immediately. IT
IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE THE FREIGHT DAMAGE CLAIM. If
you need assistance contact your Sherwood Dash Customer Representative.
2. If damage is internal, first contact your local shipping company
office, and then notify Sherwood Dash
3. Claims and reimbursement for damage should be made with the shipping
company.
C. INSURING RETURNS:
All return shipments must be insured in case of loss or damage
during shipping.
RETURNS:
All return requests must be made in writing or by fax. A Sherwood Dash
Return Authorization Number (RAN) will be issued to you by your Customer
Service Representative. Your return packing list and all boxes must be
clearly marked with the RAN. All shipments without a RAN will be
refused. Freight must be PREPAID on all return shipments and shipped to
Brampton, Canada. It is the customer¹s responsibility to package
products for return in such a manner as to prevent them from freight
damage. Be sure to insure your package for the package
value.
NON-WARRANTY RETURNS
1.) ALL RETURNS WILL REQUIRE PROOF OF PURCHASE WITHIN THE LAST 30 DAYS.
2.) PRODUCT THAT WAS NOT PURCHASED IN THE LAST 30 DAYS IS NON-RETURNABLE.
3.) PRODUCT MUST BE IN THE ORIGINAL CARTON.
4.) RETURNS MUST BE FREIGHT PRE-PAID.
5.) PRODUCT MUST BE CURRENT MODEL.
6.) RETURNS ARE ASSESSED A 25% RESTOCKING FEE.
7.) NON-RETURNABLE FINISHES ARE: ALL COLORED CARBON FIBERS, REAL ALUMINUM,
ALUMINUM FIBER AND SPECIAL ORDER SERIES FINISHES.
